The Hub Management program is designed for Hubs looking to transition from Pre-incubation to full Incubation and Acceleration, Hub Managers, Stakeholders in the Hub community, Aspiring Hub owners and Government officials who are interested in the workings of the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The training which is tailored to suit the needs of new and existing Hubs, and specialized to bridge the gaps in Hub management and Innovation commercialization in Nigeria will run for three days with reputable facilitators from the all-around the African Ecosystem.
The training will run for three days with different sessions covering critical areas such as Incubation setup, Ecosystem development, Hub Sustainability strategy, Start-up Management, Innovation Commercialization and much more.
In Abuja, the event will cover hubs in North-East, North-West and North-Central region of Nigeria.
In Aba, the event will cover hubs in the South-South and South-East region of Nigeria

Afrilabs Annual Gathering 2018

The AfriLabs Annual Gathering annually provides a unique opportunity for tech hubs in the AfriLabs network and other stakeholders in the African tech ecosystem like local innovators (entrepreneurs), corporates, investors, academia and developmental agencies to convene, network and share knowledge.
The 3rd edition of the AfriLabs Annual Gathering 2018 is being co-organized with Sahara Sparks which is the largest innovation and technology entrepreneurship event in East Africa as AfriLabs Annual Gathering 2018 & Sahara Sparks 2018. The gathering themed Innovation in the Data Age will be taking place from 11th – 13th October 2018 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The AfriLabs Annual Gathering has been held in different regions across Africa; from Ghana in 2016, to Egypt in 2017 and now Tanzania in 2018. In attendance will be over 80 technology and innovation hubs and over 600 key stakeholders that include entrepreneurs, corporate organizations, government and developmental agencies

DEMO Africa is the launch pad for African technology and trends, attracting a global audience of over 2,000 people to experience the finest African innovations as they venture into the markets. Selected startups are introduced to an audience of investors, corporate acquirers, strategic partners and global media practitioners.
DEMO Africa is one of the flagship initiatives of Lions@frica, a public-private alliance aimed at enhancing and deepening the start-up and innovation ecosystems of targeted fast-growing African economies. Over the last six years, the event have connected over 3,000 African start-ups to the global innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, helped create more than 2,000 high-paying jobs, and mentored more than 250 startup teams across the continent. Over 30 DEMO Africa winners have ventured on to Silicon Valley though the Lions@frica innovation tour to partake in deep knowledge exchanges and engage the global innovation ecosystem.
This year the event will be taking place in Morocco from the 18th to 19th of October 2018.
NIGERIAN INNOVATION SUMMIT

The Nigeria Innovation Summit in its 3rd year is an annual event that focuses on the need for the country, businesses, organisations, entrepreneurs in Nigeria to become more innovative and use innovation to drive sustainable development. This Summit helps Nigeria embrace innovation and move in the direction of digital transformation through the use of Emerging Technologies and Trends, Research, Development, Commercialization, Entrepreneurship and Investments as the key drivers of an innovation ecosystem. This platform creates awareness on the need for Open Innovation in Nigeria, and challenges Nigeria to leverage innovation to become more competitive in the global economy.
This year, the summit with the theme, Building a Culture of Innovation in Nigeria for Sustainable Economic Growth will be held in two different venues: 25th September 2018 at Ventures Platforms Abuja and 26th September 2018 at Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre Abuja.
